WHAT:

Colorado’s congested and deteriorated transportation network threatens to diminish quality of life and hamper economic growth and recovery in one of the fastest growing states in the nation, according to a new report released today by TRIP, a Washington, DC-based national transportation research nonprofit.

Local speakers will join TRIP at a virtual news conference on Tuesday to highlight the report’s findings. The report, “Keeping Colorado Mobile,” examines road and bridge conditions, congestion, economic development, highway safety, and transportation funding in the Colorado Springs, Denver, Northern Colorado, Mesa County and Pueblo urban areas and statewide.
