A new report that identifies the transportation improvements most needed to support Alabama’s economic growth and quality of life will be released at a news conference in Birmingham at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 11. The report is being released by TRIP, a national nonprofit transportation research group based in Washington, DC.
The report, “The Top 50 Highway Projects to Support Economic Growth and Quality of Life in Alabama,” identifies the improvements to the state’s network of roads and bridges that are most needed to foster economic growth and support quality of life in Alabama.
Rocky Moretti, TRIP’s director of research and policy, will present the findings of the report at the news conference. Local speakers will be on hand to comment on the report.
